Peking Gardens in Lewisburg

Honest to goodness, color me impressed. Used to be a Ruyee diehard when I lived in Danville, and hadn’t found my “place” when I moved to Lewisburg. Peking has definitely stepped up the quality of their food in the last 2 years. I regularly order General Tso’s, Szechuan shrimp, and PFR 🍚. Consistently good.

Fantastic food and delivery service. The delivery driver was very friendly and efficient. The food was hot when it arrived. We ordered Cheese Wonton, Peking Dumplings & Shumai for appetizers. They were all delicious. For the main dishes we had Beef with Black Mushroom, Cha Chiang Mein, Shrimp Lo Mein and Seafood Pan-Fried Noodles. Everything was perfect.

When I ordered delivery, they asked if I was paying with cash and I was so I said yes. When they arrived the didn’t have correct change basically forcing me into giving them an abnormally large tip for delivery.

Best Chinese restaurant in the area. The sushi is excellent. I do wish they had a buffet. Egg rolls, ribs & dumplings are always fresh and served hot. Service is very friendly and knowledgeable and have been work here for years.

Great find on our drive from Rochester, NY to Mechanicsburg. Good food, excellent sized portions, and great service. Didn't expect to find a good Chinese Restaurant in this area.

Although some of the takeout dishes are ok amd their delivery time is speedy, this is rhe second time we ordered a shrimp dish and were given deep fried, battered shrimp in a dish that calls for fresh plain shrimp. It appears that they're trying to use up pre-prepared shrimp instead of cooking a dish to order (which would explain the exceptionally speedy delivery time). As well the egg rolls had an "off" taste (oil not fresh either?) Even the steamed rice was not fresh tasting! At these prices (not cheap) when we want to occasionally treat ourselves, we expect FRESH ingredients, cooked to order, not food that's been sitting around since lunch time (or yesterday). We won't order takeout again. It might be a different story when dining in but not sure we'll spend our entertainment and dining dollars here ever again (this is the second time we tried this place thinking maybe the first time was an off day).

Always a great go-to in Lewisburg. Prices are so-so, but the food is good. And they have pretty good sushi, too.

Could say one of the better Chinese restaurants in Lewisburg. Good food, large quantities and good value for the money. Would definitely go there again for Chinese food. Can do better with in house hot sauces instead of serving insipid takeout sauce packs.

Don't know if they were having a bad day .. but we ordered 5 lunch specials and all them came with fried rice which was white , no veggies , only had little egg mixed in with no flavor ..very bland.. My lo mein was the same ... Zero flavor. I used 4 packages of soy sauce to eat it... I love Chinese but sorry , I won't be trying this again ...

Always great food good size portions and great prices

It is a pleasant restaurant with a great variety of both, Chinese and Japanese food. Their portions are generous and presented to please the customer. The orders from the sushi bar are made fresh to order.You can have a seat in a booth or come with a party of 10 and more and be severed at pleasantly arranged tables. I come quite frequently and have not been disappointed by the service nor the food.There meals are truly priced very reasonably.

Delicious food and ample servings. Great takeouts during covid too. We got the combination meals and they include soup and and egg rolls. 😋

Dim sum was as good as it gets in this area. Buffet style is not my preferred dining style prefer off menu. A majority of the people I encounter at any of the Asian owned and operated restaurants take the all you can eat buffet as a challenge. They put me in mind of hogs feeding. Not only are these people offensive to see and hear the lack of common decency to me, but I have noticed that the staff does a fair share of eye rolling and often seem stunned by the amount of food these individuals load on a plate. I've not observed very many overweight Asians in my time on this planet but I would wager that the heavy Asians I've seen were born here. Overall the food was good. The service was exceptional which is truly surprising to me considering the way most of the locals treat people of Asian decent. Disrespectfully at best and outright insulting at times.

Good food if you want a bit of a higher class atmosphere for lunch or dinner.

Wish I could agree but food was tasteless general tso had heat but no taste n lo main has never anywhere before had mushrooms they had it tho so not happy about that but mainly it was bland oh n not so fried rice was just as disappointing

Very good chinese food! I have been here 5+ times and have never been disappointed. Definitely stop in for great chinese food at a great price! The lunch specials are also hard to beat as you get so much food for such a low price. I definitely recommend this place!

Where I prefer to spend my money. Probably the best Chinese in 100 mile radius. Few places give you plenty of food that’s also tasty and reasonably priced. I hope more ppl give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

I usually go there for the Monday through Friday lunch special. I'm no expert in Chinese food. I usually get the Szechuan shrimp or the General Tso's chicken. I enjoy both but can't vouch for the rest of the menu. The woman who runs the place is always nice to me, but not everyone who works there speaks English. Be prepared to order by numbers and don't expect much guidance in ordering.

I travel a lot, and generally stay in an area for 1-6 months at a time for work. I eat chinese food at least 3-5 times a week at a variety of different restaurants until I find one I like. Out of every chinese place ive been this one is by far the best!
